Hello, world! And welcome.

Months in development now, I’d like to share a sneak peak of what I’ve been working on: Oculus Rift DK2 support for Microsoft Flight Simulator X.  As a flight simulator enthusiast, a DK2 user/gamer, and a developer, this isn’t going to be some bullet point for marketing “DK2 now supported”.  I understand the level of performance required for immersion (or even those rare moments of presence).  I’m aware of the myriad of features, hardware, and plugins that flight simmers use, that you’ll need to be able to read gauges, turn knobs, and even view those VFR sectionals you pulled up in your web browser.

So no, this won’t be basic “now you can sit in the cockpit first person and it ‘works’ inside the Rift.”  It’ll be much much more!

For now, check out the video.  If you’d like to see development updates, comment on features, or even beta test, subscribe to my mailing list.
